Loyola University
Loyola Campus Libertarians offers an alternative environment for political discussion. We're very open to a lot, almost anything really, and enjoy talking about the philosophical underpinnings of politics in general. We promote the idea of thinking for yourself and we are not bound to black and white on issues and opinions.
At each meeting we usually honor an amendment to the U.S. Constitution with our customary "Amendment of the Week." We also pick out current issues in the news and discuss them and their relation to Libertarianism, all the while promoting freedom and liberty.
We remain friendly and promote educational stances, some of us even play the devil's advocate simply to strengthen and refine our stances or make clear the stances of others while we look at other aspects and viewpoints in the political and philosophical world.
Loyola Campus Libertarians is working on getting a semi-famous Libertarian speaker to come and help inform the general public of the Libertarian philosophy/political party. We also try occasionally plan fundraising events to help us in our efforts to get a speaker.
